A real friendly advice by Abdullah Gul(Turkish President).

I think the comment made by Abdullah Gul(Turkish President) is somewhat a statement which should be the focal point of our policy making.

According to media reports:

“Pakistan is passing through a critical time … therefore, in this kind of critical period, all the decision makers should focus on Pakistan’s future,” Gül said when asked about probable impacts of the ongoing crisis in Pakistan over the country’s image in the eyes of the international community.

Abdullah Guls visit to Pakistan and his efforts to stabilize the country’s situation shows the strength of ties between the two brotherly nations. I hope his efforts will help the situation in Pakistan to get eased up a bit.

Abdullah Gul also urged the Pakistani government and opposition parties to look for a unified future for Pakistan.

  2. yeah, its our weakness that others find there way in our issues.

but i think Turkey n Pakistan have a different case altogether Pakistan was founded as an alternative to the ottoman empire n from that time Turks n Pakistanis(at that time Indian Muslims) were supporting each other.

We also played our role in Turkeys issues like caliphate movement,Kurdish issue,Cyprus issue n also in there political turmoils .
We are like two countries n one nation(historically but nowdays i dont think people of both countries ve n e thing to do with the history of the close ties we have).

  3. Hello, I am from Turkey. In Turkey it is still remembered how Pakistani people sent money and other thing to Turkey in our independence war. Such things will never be forget.
This statement was made by Abdullah Gül during his stay in Pakistan. He is expected to say such things and that has nothing to do with telling anyone what he has to do.

  4. @Turkei

    welcome to my blog.
most of Pakistan believe that we may belong to 2 different countries but we r “one nation” with lots of commonalities in our history.
We also cant forget da generosity Turks showed in our 2005 earthquake.
We welcome da efforts by our brothers.
