It seems some morons are playing with the sentiments of people on facebook. To promote their pages and profiles they circulate a disturbing picture of a baby and say facebook will donate x amount of dollars for every share and innocent people share it considering it to be a genuine thing. I still appreciate those who do that but for those who initiate those pics I don’t have any good words. If facebook wants to donate something then they are a big corporate giant and they can donate it without circulating disturbing images of any innocent child. Facebook can even use advertisement banners to invite people for direct donations or pages instead of using other profiles/pages.
The better way is to report these pictures to facebook or to send a request/protest messages to those who are doing it by following these profiles (if they are also not the victims of these fake picture thing).
Indeed this is a shameful way of marketing and promoting profiles and pages. Shame on those who do it.
A great Islamic scholar, a true Pakistani and a great human is no more with us. Dr. Israr Ahmad passed away yesterday by the will of almighty Allah.
Inna lillah e wainna ilaihe rajioon
May Allah bless him with Jannat and forgive whatever wrong he did. He lived a life of a true scholar and a practical Muslim. His efforts for Deen and Socio-Economic justice will always be remembered with respect.
I attended his few lectures on the topics of Socio-Economic justice and Islamic system and consider it a great thing in my life. His work of Quran Academy will inshaAllah grow more than ever.
This Eid reminds us of the great prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) ‘s sacrifice in front of the Almighty Allah.
“Surely Abraham was an example, obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the polytheists. He was grateful for Our bounties. We chose him and guided him unto a right path. We gave him good in this world, and in the next he will most surely be among the righteous.” (Qur’an 16:120-121)
“That was an exacting test indeed. We ransomed (Ismail) by substituting an animal sacrifice. And we preserved his history for subsequent generations. Peace be upon Abraham. We thus reward the righteous. He is one of our believing servants.”(Qur’an 37:106-111)
May Allah give us the same strength and feeling of sacrifice and taqwa.
“It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches Him.” (Qur’an 22:37)
Pakistan’s Aisam ul Haq and USA’s James Cerretani beat Swiss team of Roger Federer and M. Chiudinelli in ATP Basel tournament.
The doubles team beat the Swiss favorites for the match in straight set with scores of 6-4 and 6-3.
Tennis has been a real neglected sports in Pakistan despite having a great following all over the world but somehow players like Aisam ul Haq on their own create some chances for their selves and the country to record some glory.
It’s a real great achievement for a country where government doesn’t care about and support tennis.

Who can forget the devastation of 8 October 2005 Northern Pakistan & Kashmir earthquake which claimed the lives of thosands of people and left more as homeless and injured.
The biggest victim of the earthquake were kids and educational institutions as the earthquake came at morning time when many of the kids were in schools and got hit by the devastation.
The people of Pakistan especially and all over the world in general immediately rose to the call and showed their support to the affected people.
Sadly the response from our government and international ones except for initial days cannot be considered as great. Pledges were made , estimates of rehabilitation were given but not much on the ground was done.
Still hundreds of thousands are living in tents , more than 1300 educational institutions are yet to be built leaving more than 100,000 people to study under the open sky or in temporary camps.
I don’t know after having so many refugees from Bajur,Sawat,Waziristan and other places due to an undue war how the victims of the 2005 earthquake will get the attention they need.
Ramadan is the month in which Allah revealed Quran on us :
“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan), he must fast that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number (of days which one did not fast must be made up) from other days.
Allah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him” (2: 185).
As Quran is a book of hidaiath and the biggest message it gives us to stay away from shirk so in this Ramadan we should make a pledge with ourselves to get away from shirk as far as possible and associate no partners with Him.
As it is taught us in the Quran to invite Ahl e Kitab towards Tauheed:
“O People of the Book! Let us come to a mutual agreement, that we shall worship and obey none but God. That neither shall we ascribe divinity to anyone beside Him, nor shall we take human beings from among ourselves as our lords beside God.” And if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that it is we who have surrendered ourselves unto Him.”(3:64)
Also one of the most common type of Shirks we see in darbars,shrines and other places is asking help from graves and sufis which is condemned in Quran in the words:
“Those whom you call upon besides Allah, [such as mystics and saints], are people like you. Go ahead and call upon them, let them respond by helping you if you are true in your belief”(7:194)
“ Do they ascribe to Him as partners things that can create nothing, but are themselves created”(7:191)
“Call upon those whom you imagine beside Allah! They have not an atom’s weight of power either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor does He need any of them as a helper.”(34:22)
